I am sending this letter to support the application of xxx to your esteemed university. I am glad to recommend that Xxx is one of serious and critical students in my class. I taught him Personal Financing and Commercial Bank Retail, which is a compulsory course for students majoring in Finance. I have known her for one year since then.
Xxx always ranked as one of the top students in the class when finishing assignments and exams. The lecture is a little bit challenging for student because it combines theory with case study, and it requires students to understand basic theory and propose their own suggestions. (1)你的自我説明是真實的
英國大學招生官會首先考察推薦信是否在某種程度上證實並支持你的自我説明和定位。如果在申請短文中自稱自己是公司的—個非常成功的交易人，那麼，閲讀你申請材料的招生官會仔細地查看你的上司對你的評價，並用這個機會來判斷你的自我説明是否客觀合理。
(2)你有很高的資歷
從另外一個方面來説，推薦信的作用也很重要。推薦信提供了更多的關於你的信息，你應當最好請推薦人通過具體的例子來支持他對你的總體看法。
(3)你的管理能力比較突出
你必須確認推薦信的目的是為了你自己的利益，你要控制他們寫的是你所希望的，並要求他們(以對你最有利的方式)寫出你願意説出的東西，並設法請他們及時將推薦信寄出。通常來説，你不能指使、命令這些人，你能夠用的只能是影響力而不是權力。所以，寫推薦信的過程實際上也是考驗你是否具備能夠將別人説服的能力的過程。
