我們一起走進泰山，開始走過一家家賣工藝品街，賣一些小玩意兒，還有賣登山枴杖和遮陽傘的。很多人都買了枴杖，估計山高路陡，提前做好準備。我的身旁走過一個大胖人，頭上緊緊地扎個紅頭巾——好像下了決心，再難也要登上泰山!泰山，真有這麼難登嗎?

一行人中，我是最年輕氣盛的，我充滿信心地竄上了好幾段階梯……

我有大家介紹一下泰山吧：泰山壯觀、雄偉，主峯高1545米，環繞主峯的山峯有112餘座，崖嶺90餘座，溪谷102條，名泉72處，如玉液泉、王母泉、來鶴泉等等，所以泰山的水系十分豐富。泰山山脈由東向西有東、中、西三條大谷;北麓自東而西有天津河、掃帚峪、桃花峪三條大谷。六條大谷溪流各向六個方向輻射，分成六個區域，形成了著名的幽、曠、奧、秀、妙、麗六大景區。

就這樣一邊説一邊走，我們走一會，歇一會，不知不覺就來到了泰山最險處———泰山十八盤。這裏是泰山最陡的地方了，仰望山頂，直插雲霄，所有的人都在頭頂了。遠遠望去都能看到玉皇廟了，我真是興奮極了，一下子忘記了疲勞，飛快地跑了起來。真想快一點目睹泰山極頂，欣賞玉皇頂上的美麗景色。可是跑了一小段，我的腿腳便不再聽使喚了，腳痠酸的，腿癢癢的，既舒服，又有點兒難受!喉嚨裏有點乾澀，呼吸急促，這時候我又有點退縮了。“但是不能半途而廢”我對自己説。於是我又一次鼓起了勇氣，咬着牙，彎下腰，手腳並用，往上爬，這才是真正的爬山呀!就這樣，憑着堅強的毅力和信心，我終於登上了玉皇頂，看到了玉皇廟。心裏別提有多高興了，真有一種“會當凌絕頂，一覽眾山小”的感覺。

大家先從中天門開始出發吧，一會兒就到十八盤了。大家站在迎客松下，隱隱約約就可以看見十八盤。因為古人説：一葉障目，不見泰山。十八盤的台階共1594級，高約400多米，可以説是泰山的脊樑。大約在25億年前，有一次被地質學家稱作泰山運動的造山運動中，古泰山第一次從一片汪洋中崛起，以後幾度滄桑，泰山升起又沉沒，沉沒又升起，終於在3000萬年前的喜馬拉雅山造山運動中，泰山最後形成了今天的模樣。古老的造山運動造就了泰山南麓階梯式上升的三個斷裂帶，最上一層從雲步橋斷帶到極頂，海拔陡然上升了400多米，使得這一層地帶與四周羣峯產生強烈對比，猶如寶塔之剎，形成了東天一柱的氣勢。

接着就到南天門了。我們現在已置身天界了。雖然我們並沒有成仙，但我們在這裏領略到了登山而小天下的豪邁。

沿大觀峯西側盤道而上，至最高處，大家覺得那些一路上看似走不完的石階終於到了盡頭，這就是泰山的極頂—玉皇頂了。

玉皇廟建在極頂上，紅牆綠瓦像是給泰山戴了一頂桂冠。由山門近廟最先看到的是院中央的極頂石，極頂石卧在一圈石欄中，高約一米，表面粗糙，如果在別處，外表是最普通不過的了，但是在這裏，它的旁邊有碑文，上面寫着泰山極頂1545米。根據地質學分析，就是它有着數百平方公里的基座，整座大山託舉着它，使它高聳雲天。以至於玉皇大帝簡直就成了它的守護神。

遊泰山，一般先遊岱廟。岱廟位於泰安城內，南起泰安門，通天街，北抵泰山盤道、南天門的中軸線，為歷代封建帝王到泰山封禪時舉行大典的場所。你們看，這是岱廟主殿天貺殿，是我國三大宮殿建築之一，始建於北宋。岱廟碑刻林立，由秦至清共160餘塊，多藏於漢柏院內。大殿前還有秦始皇的無字碑。院北東御座是帝王來泰山封禪時休息的地方。岱廟真是一個歷史文物、詩文、繪畫、書法、雕刻藝術的綜合博物館啊!
