1月1日之所以稱為元旦，元是開始，第一之意，旦是早晨，一天之意!元旦就是一年的開始，一年的第一天!從字面上看，旦字下面的一橫代表着波濤澎湃的海面，一輪紅日正從海上噴薄而出，放射着燦爛輝煌的光芒!這個象形字生動的反應了旭日東昇的景象!把元旦合在一起，就是要人們以蓬勃的朝氣和奮發的鬥志來迎接嶄新的一年!東晉詩人陶淵明曾有過這樣的感歎：“盛年不重來，一日難再晨，及時當勉勵，歲月不待人!”
過去是美好的回憶，夢想是青春的旗幟!

生命是寶貴的，也是美好的。磚縫裏頑強生長的小苗，絕境中奮力求生的飛蛾，野火中茁壯成長的小草，這一幅幅動人的畫面，無不展示着它們對生命的熱愛。
記得有一次，我們家的菜地裏長滿了小草，把菜都覆蓋了，媽媽便把它們全鋤掉了，一把火燒了。可是誰也沒有想到，今年春天，那些被火燒得一乾二淨的小草，竟然抽出了新的嫩芽，在陽光和春雨的滋潤下，不屈向上，茁壯成長。即使有石頭擋住它們的去路，它們也毫不畏懼，勇敢地衝破阻礙，探出腦袋。看見這樣的情景，我真正明白了“野火燒不盡，春風吹又生”的意思。
有一次，媽媽給我買了四條魚。一看到魚兒，我心裏別提多高興了。因為魚兒那光溜溜的身子在水裏自由自在地遊着，時而跳躍，時而鑽入水底，非常調皮可愛。特別是煮熟的時候，那香味把我吸引地口水直流。有一天，我想吃魚，伸手就抓到一條魚。那魚兒，別提多調皮了，它的尾巴上下左右亂搖動。過了一會兒，我感到它在我的手裏掙扎，我感到一股生命的力量在我手中躍動，那樣強烈，那樣鮮明!
看到小草和魚兒，使我明白了：它們那頑強的生命力，向我展示着它不屈向上的精神。我們要向它們學習，不要遇到一些挫折，就垂頭喪氣，要挺起胸膛來面對，敢於和困難作鬥爭，知難而進。人只有在挫折中成長，才能成為一個出色的人，使生命變得有價值。

if a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then i grow up along with these choices. once i hope i can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know i come here, now i wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
when i come to this school, i told to myself: this my near future, all starts here.
